Ervaring in creativiteit en zorg

Vanaf jongs af aan werd ik aangetrokken door verschillende vormen van creativiteit en kende ik aandacht voor zorg en educatie.

Dit kwam in mijn tienerjaren al snel tot uitdrukking in mijn vrijwilligerswerk bij een kindertehuis voor moelijk opvoedbare kinderen.

Hier naast volgde ik al vroeg muziek, zang, toneel en regiecursussen

Naast mijn vrijwilligerswerk in het kindertehuis startte ik de part-time opleiding mbo-IW in Groningen

Om toch wat meer inkomen te krijgen startte ik na 2 jaar vrijwelligerswerk , mijn werk als jeugdherberg assistent in Meppel en heb uiteindelijk kunnen werken als ongediplomeerd, maar wel betaald als vaak tijdelijk groepsleider/begeleider in diverse kindertehuizen waaronder Bolsward ( Hid Hero Hiem), Veendam (Leger des Heils), Winterswijk (Brown Dale) en Maastricht ( Marienwaard)

Tijdens mijn werk in Winterswijk voelde ik ook grote aantrekkingskracht om mezelf nog iets meer te ontwikkelen en volgde ik lessen aan de kleinkunstacademie (oriëntatieklas) in Amsterdam en volgde ik de Kunstacademie in Leeuwarden.

Experience in creativity and care

From an early age I was attracted by different forms of creativity and I was aware of care and education. This quickly became apparent in my teenage years in my volunteer work at a children's home for difficult-to-educate children. In addition, I followed music, singing, drama and directing courses at an early age In addition to my volunteer work in the children's home, I started the part-time education MBO-IW in Groningen To get a little more income, after 2 years of working virtually, I started my work as a youth hostel assistant in Meppel and eventually I was able to work as an unqualified, but paid as often temporary group leader / supervisor in various children's homes including Bolsward (Hid Hero Hiem), Veendam (Salvation Army), Winterswijk (Brown Dale) and Maastricht (Marienwaard) During my work in Winterswijk I also felt a great attraction to develop myself even more and I took lessons at the cabaret academy (orientation class) in Amsterdam and I attended the Art Academy in Leeuwarden.

HBO - Kunstonderwijs

Vanuit de avondacademie in leeuwarden ben ik toen overgestapt naar het dagonderwijs van de kunstacademie in Ensede ( De AKI) en heb deze uiteindelijk met veel succes af kunnen ronden in meerdere vakgebieden.

In tegenstelling tot veel medestudenten had ik me bezig willen houden in vrijwel alle vakgebieden.

Dit waren film, fotografie, tekenen/schilderen, scenografie (decorbouw), architectuur en illustratie.

Tijdens deze HBO studie wilde ik ook les leren geven en volgde ik de 3 jarige studie die verbonden was aan de kunstacademie.

Ik beschik over een getuigenis (diploma) om verantwoord les te kennen geven in creatieve vormgeving.

HBO - Art education

From the evening academy in Leeuwarden I then switched to daytime education at the art academy in Ensede (De AKI) and I was able to successfully complete this in several fields. Unlike many fellow students, I would have liked to be involved in almost all fields. These were film, photography, drawing/painting, scenography (set design), architecture and illustration. During this HBO study I also wanted to learn to teach and I followed the 3-year study that was connected to the art academy. I have a testimonial (diploma) to teach responsibly in creative design.

Werkervaring als (inval)groepsleider door het hele land

Zoals ik vele jaren in invalbaantjes had gewerkt als groepsleider, ben ik sinds 2003 ook voor vele uitzendbureaus in het hele land gaan werken.

Mijn sterkste kant bleek al heel snel: persoonlijke begeleiding. Ik heb veel kinderen en volwassenen mogen en ook kunnen begeleiden met het zogeheten moeilijk verstaanbaar gedrag.

Work experience as a (substitute) group leader throughout the country.

As I had worked in stand-by jobs for many years as a group leader, I also started working for many employment agencies across the country since 2003. My strongest side soon became apparent: personal guidance. I have been allowed to and have also been able to guide many children and adults with the so-called difficult-to-understand behavior.

Kunstschilder, Decorontwerper, Fotografiedocent & Grafisch Vormgever

Na mijn academieperiode heb ik actief deelgenomen aan diverse kunstenaarsgroepen zoals: FNV-kunstenbond, ATELIER-WG & STOPER-ART groep en deed ik mee aan groepstentoonstellingen en organiseerde ik zelf solotentoonstellingen.

Tevens werkte ik als decorontwerper voor danstheater DIN, later DININ en theatergroep DWARF.

Als een eigen project, heb ik gewerkt aan een productie van een straatopera DE BARBIER VAN SEVILIA, dat uiteindelijk door het hele land is vertoond. Ervaring bij tentoonstellingsbedrijf: POLDER &VAN CLEEF (door het hele land) en werkte ik als Handler voor WORLD-PRESS fototentoonstellingen.

De laatste tentoonstelling waar ik aan mee heb gedaan was eind Januari- Februari 2020 met een groeps-tentoonstelling van modeltekeningen in galerie Arteschock in Rijswijk.

Painter, Set Designer, Photography Teacher & Graphic Designer

After my academic period I actively participated in various artist groups such as: FNV-kunstenbond, ATELIER-WG & STOPER-ART group and I participated in group exhibitions and organized solo exhibitions myself. I also worked as a set designer for dance theater DIN, later DININ and theater group DWARF. As a project of my own, I worked on a production of a street opera THE BARBIER OF SEVILIA, which was eventually shown all over the country. Experience at exhibition company: POLDER &VAN CLEEF (throughout the country) and I worked as Handler for WORLD-PRESS photo exhibitions. The last exhibition I participated in was at the end of January-February 2020 with a group exhibition of model drawings in the Arteschock gallery in Rijswijk.

Prijzen

Via een schilderwedstrijd van Stoper-art won ik in Amsterdam nog eens 1 van de 2 hoofdprijzen met mijn schilderij: Muziekoptocht

een schilderij dat ik tesamen met vele andere schilderijen heb weten te verkopen via de galerie in Amsterdam waar ik regelmatig exposeerde. Als ik me niet vergis zijn meerdere grote werken van mij gegaan naar Procter & Gamble in Rotterdam.

Prices

Through a painting competition of Stoper-art I won another 1 of the 2 main prizes in Amsterdam with my painting: Music Parade a painting that I, along with many other paintings, managed to sell through the gallery in Amsterdam where I exhibited regularly. If I am not mistaken, several of my major works have gone to Procter & Gamble in Rotterdam.

Initiatieven

Vanaf 2003 heb ik me bezig gehouden met diverse projecten die ik initieerde waaronder `Het hartenproject` met verschillende kunstenaars uit verschillende disciplines. De oprichting van een stichting in de kunsten `Stichting Bando` en het formeren van werkzoekenden die samen wilden werken om aan een baan te komen. (juli 2015) Zie hiervoor bijvoorbeeld op:

Since 2003 I have been involved in various projects that I initiated, including `The Heart Project` with different artists from different disciplines. Nevenactiviteiten: Opstarten van stichting Bando in 2006, waarin ik o.a. kom tot een samenwerking tussen Nederland en de Filippijnen en we gebruik maken van verschillende uitdrukkingsvormen in verschillende kunsten. Daadwerkelijk houd Bando voor mij in: Onderzoek doen, verbindingen maken en verslaggeving doen d.m.v. interviews en presentaties.

Netwerken: afgelopen jaren bezoek ik met grote regelmaat netwerkbijeenkomsten in Den Haag en omgeving. Ook sloot ik me in het verleden al gedurende een aantal jaren aan bij de netwerkgroep Talent-plus in Den Haag.

Deze netwerkbijeenkomsten zijn in Den Haag zoals OC070 en de Bitterballenborrel en in Rijswijk bijvoorbeeld de netwerkbijeenkomsten die georganiseerd worden door mijn vriend Joy Bindraban

Side activities: Starting up the Bando foundation in 2006, in which I, among other things, come to a collaboration between the Netherlands and the Philippines and we use different forms of expression in different arts. In fact Bando means to me: Doing research, making connections and reporting through. interviews and presentations.

Networking: in recent years I regularly visit network meetings in and around The Hague. In the past I also joined the Talent-plus network group in The Hague for a number of years.

These network meetings are in The Hague such as OC070 and the Bitterballenborrel and in Rijswijk, for example, the network meetings organized by my friend Joy Bindraban
